LegalPay Technologies Pvt. Ltd.(“Company”) including our affiliates and our related group entities (collectively referred to as “the Company ”) provide our product Quick Settle (“Product”), to our Users  through our website www.quicksettle.ai

The statements and procedures outlined in this Privacy Policy must be read in conjunction with our general terms and conditions available here (“User Terms and Condititons”).

POLICY REVIEW, UPDATES & APPLICABILITY

This Privacy Policy applies to Personal Information (which includes any information/documents/details that relate to a natural or legal person, which, either directly or indirectly in combination with other information available with the Company, can identify such a person) and such other information as mentioned in the ‘Information Collected’ section of this Privacy Policy.

The Company may amend this Privacy Policy at any time by posting a revised version on our Wesbite. The revised version will be effective as of the published effective date.

We collect personal information to provide you with the Product, including:

This information includes data about the pages you access, your computer IP address, device ID or unique identifier, device type, geo-location information, computer and connection information, mobile network information, statistics on page views, traffic to and from sites that are part of the Platform, referral URL, and standard web log data, and other information.

When you use/ access the Product details through the Wesbite, we collect information about your transactions and activities. Additionally, we may collect contact information, such as your name, address, phone number, email, and other similar information; financial information, such as the full bank account number for internal assessment purposes including; detailed personal information, such as your date of birth.

That a representative from the Company, post your access and acceptance by LegalPay as per the User Terms and Conditions, may seek and acquire personal documentations inclusive of but no limited to; PAN Card, Aadhar Card, etc., for carrying out effective credit checks with other partnered entitites as mentioned in the User Terms and Conditions.

To help protect you from fraud and misuse of your personal information, we may collect information about you and your interactions with LegalPay. We may also evaluate your computer, mobile phone, or other access device to identify any malicious software or activity.

 

EXPRESS CONSENT

  • You expressly consent to LegalPay (including its marketing channels and business partners) collecting the details, documents, and information mentioned under 'Information Collected' for the purpose stated in this Privacy Policy.

  • You hereby grant your unambiguous, free, and express consent to authorize and appoint LegalPay to request, obtain, collect, receive, and/or fetch your credit score and/or a copy of your credit information report from CIC on your behalf to the extent required.

  • By providing your personal information or other information on the Platform, you expressly consent to LegalPay (including its marketing channels and business partners) to contact you via SMS, call, and/or email for product knowledge, necessary checks and other purposes.

  • You authorize and expressly consent to us sharing your personal information (only to the extent required) with third parties for the purpose of providing you the Product.

Purpose of Collecting Data

  • Our primary purpose in collecting personal information is to provide you with a secure, smooth, efficient, and customized experience. We may use your personal information to:

  • Provide seemless usage of the product and User support; process transactions and send notices about your transactions; verify your identity.

  • Resolve disputes, collect fees, and troubleshoot problems; manage risk, detect, prevent, and/or remediate fraud or other potentially prohibited or illegal activities; detect, prevent or remediate violations of policies or applicable user terms and conditions.

  • To manage and protect our information technology infrastructure; provide targeted marketing and advertising and product updates; contact you at any telephone number, by placing a voice call or through text (SMS) or email messaging, as authorised by our User Terms and Conditions; perform creditworthiness and solvency checks, and compare information for accuracy and verify it with third parties.

The Company also uses the User information to enable activities and transactions that need to occur during the process of lending, such as:

  • Generating and maintaining User profiles.

  • Providing personalised features.

  • Aiding financial services organisations to provide better services

  • Facilitating collection activities as needed.

  • Maintaining regular communications with the User concerning transactions the User initiates, such  as requesting information or assistance, submitting a loan request, making payments, transferring funds, etc.

  • Modifying the Platform from time to time to cater to the User’s interests.

  • Providing the Platform and the functions and features therein, efficiently.

  • Preserving social history as governed by existing law or policy.

 

REASONABLE SECURITY PRACTICES FOR PROTECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We have used the term “personal information” to describe information that can be associated with a specific person and can be used to identify that person. Personal information does not include any information that has been anonymised and cannot be used to identify a specific user.

We store and process your personal information on our servers  and internal systems. We have implemented physical, technical, and administrative security measures to reduce the risks of loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, and alteration of your information. Our security safeguards include firewalls, data encryption, access controls, and information access authorisation controls. LegalPay ensures that the reasonable security practices are fully compliant with applicable laws and industry standards.

Sharing of Personal Information

LegalPay will not sell or rent your personal information to anyone, for any reason, at any time. However, we may share your Personal information with our affiliates and Financing Partners wherein such data sharing may assist the User in utilising the Product.

Additionally, LegalPay may share your personal information with:

  • Employees of LegalPay to provide joint content, products, and services (such as registration, transactions, and User support), to help detect and prevent potentially illegal acts and violations of our policies, and to guide decisions about our product, and communications.

  • Credit bureaus and collection agencies to report account information, as may be permitted under law.

  • Law enforcement, government officials, or other third parties pursuant to a summon, court order, or other legal process or requirement applicable to the Company or its affiliates; or to comply with the process of law.

 

 

Cookies Policy

We use data collection devices such as "cookies" or similar technologies on certain pages of the website to help analyse our webtraffic, measure promotional effectiveness, and promote trust and safety. "Cookies" are small files placed on your device's hard drive or storage that assist us in providing our services.

Retention of data

We will retain your information for as long as it is necessary to provide you with the Product, and will delete all personally identifiable information upon your request to delete your account with LegalPay.

Without foreoing the generality of the aforementioned data retention policy, LegalPay may be contractually or legally obligated to retain certain information, and accordingly such information shall be retained as prescribed under applicable law or as part of LegalPay’s contractual obligations for the purposes of easy access to the credit line, by the User, offered by the Product.

 

LegalPay is committed to adequately protecting your personal information regardless of where the data resides and to providing appropriate protection for your personal information.
